Hello Kitty

And again I find myself writing yet another quick blog post . Not because I don't like to write , or even because I don't have anything to write , but simply cos I don't have the time . Yes even now as I sit on the bed balancing my laptop on my knees I have to stop typing every few seconds either to put a jigsaw piece in its place , clap my hands or do anything else that keeps my 1yr old entertained . Not that Im complaining cos I love being a mummy , its just other things must wait to be done , one of them being my blog updating ..

Actually its my daqughter who inspired this post in the first place . These days she's been getting some nice Hello Kitty pressies which I just had to share with my fellow bloggers.

Being a fan of Josie Stevens from the TV show "Married to Rock" , I just cant not appreciate the HelloKitty  stuff , as she is the biggest HK fan I know (not that I know her personally lol ) .

Im LOVING the HK box beneath which was a present for my baby , its so cute  Im actually thinking of putting all my makeup in it haha .. also the little HK hairpiece ,I bought for my baby but also might use myself xD ..

I just Love being a girly girl and love having a baby girl whom I can share all the pink and girly stuff with =D

Sweet Treat

My new palette of eyeshadows . Im so ready to experiment with some colors .Currently Ive been browsing through some youtube vids and other makeup tutorials just to get some ideas which Ill be posting soon when I get a chance (yep Im pretty busy 24/7 with a 1 year old who has just learnt how to walk ) .

Which are YOUR favourite eyeshadow colors?

I usually go for the pinks and purples and love to add some black too .. but these days Ive been changing my color scheme and people have actually noticed which makes me more inspired to try out some new styles , especially as the spring/summer season has officially begun .. not thats its not important to wear makeup in winter LOL .. but anyway you know what I mean haha .

Retail Therapy

Buying even the smallest or cheapest thing can lift up your mood so much . Even if I don't actually need anything (hardly ever is the case haha) I always buy at least something , however small or cheap , it makes my day feel fulfilled I guess .
Had a day out with some girlfriends lately and these are some of my little purchases I just couldn't resist not buying .




Sunglasses and a purse .. wait fooorrr it ... for just €1.95 each =O
Ok no fancy designer names but they're still so worth it .. the purse is so fun & girly .. and I'm loving the big shades .. and to think , I was just about to spend €18 on a purse but wasn't so convinced cos it wasn't so much my style and I then met this one for practically nothing . Woohoo made my day =)


Hmm my lunch , a chicken filled wrap with crisps and salad (choosing the healthy option these days) it was yummy ..



My baby had fish fingers and chips .. Aww shes a cutie !! =)

All this plus a bright warm sunny day , lots of window shopping and gossip .. what more could a girl want !

Eye Candy

After an absolutely fabulous day out in the sunshine with my girlfriends (will blog about that later) .. Ive stumbled upon these sweet eyeshadow ideas which I definitely plan to try out soon . I know it might look a bit overboard for everyday makeup but thats my style & mood right now . I love the bright colour combination , great for the spring/summer season orelse to uplift your mood in the cold winter greyness . Obviously Im loving the pink =)

This eyeshadow just looks yummy , like candy . Now my quest , to find a good eyeshadow palette of colors as Im a bit dry on the makeup right now so its time I revamped my makeup bag and get stocked with some goodies. I'll share my latest purchases and in later review posts.

Now my friends its time for a hot mug of tea and a chillaxed evening infront of the telly .

Sweet Spring

Its in the air ! I can smell it .. an unexplainable fragrance which can only be defined as spring . All seasons have their own particular smell and today spring has finally arrived , well it has on this island  =D
I woke up this morning to the warm rays of the morning sun which has got even warmer this afternoon and I don't know what it is about spring but it brings that feeling of calmness but also a sense of business , like the bees I guess haha .. I just feel like cleaning & cleansing and getting ready for the summer days ahead. Soo today its all about eating healthy for me (yeah I know it should be all year around ) .. Ive stocked my fridge with all natural yogurts which I have for breakfast mixed with pitted prunes for taste yumm .. veggies and fruit are also on my agenda .
Now its time to give my nails a well deserved manicure and polish and have a good face cleanse. Tomorrow I'm out for a girls morning with my baby girl and a childhood friend , spending the day doing what a girl knows best .. shopping !!!! =D

Barbie Girl

I am absolutely Loving Josie Stevens style from the reality show 'Married to Rock' she is the wife of rockstar Steve Stevens . She actually does look like a human Barbie doll .. but is not your stereotype blonde bimbo bombshell without brains . I Love her fun personality and the way she dresses up every day ..  I'm definitely being inspired by her style right now .

Im Back

After a 4 month break of blogging , I undeleted my blogs and decided to be back.
Ok so I don't have much time online as my life is pretty hectic , mainly my 1 year old daughter takes up most of my day so I dont really have much me time for hobbies and stuff , but I'll do my best to blog more often =)
I've got loads of blog ideas so I will update as soon as I have some quiet time ..also have some book reviews to update on my other blog as Ive finally started reading again =D
