Hello my friends , I write this post as I watch the Royal Wedding live .. wow how much the prince has grown =)) and his soon to be wife looks absolutely delightful wearing the most beautiful dress from Alexander McQueen .. I wish them all the best and won't go on about the subject as I'm sure we're all overdosed on the Royal Wedding news coverage publicity etc. xD

Yesterday was a fine sunny day with a bit of breeze so I decided to take the little one by the sea .. it was soo nice paddling our feet in the cool water , the beach was empty and the sea was calm .. perfect !! I hadn't prepared anything cos it was just a random decision so next time I'll have to take more pictures (sorry for the lack of ) but I'm making up with these pretty pictures by the sea with Courtney Vogler (yes again!! Dont you just love the simpleness and pastel colors which are perfect for a nice summer day by the sea . Ive just made a mental note that this year I must wear more dresses , they're so feminine and pretty =)) Don't you think? Hows your spring/summer been till now ?

Pink Pixie Pictorial

Hello Pretties,
What has started out as a gray and cloudy day is turning out to be pretty sunny , so as baby naps I take the opportunity to post some inspiration I got from this lovely shoot from Elliot & Erick Jimenez for Material Girl . These are only a few pictures from the shoot so make sure you check out the rest cos they're really pretty . This fresh faced model is Courtney Vogler ( clicky here for another very pretty shoot from her) . She is absolutely beautiful , her face has that innocent childlike look which reminded me of the beautiful topmodel Gemma Ward who has similar features imo .
I love this pictorial because it has some of my favourite elements -- PINK =D of course .. and also it has that fairy feel to it , and fairies are another of my obsessions ..
Hmm seeing these photos I can almost smell the spring air in the woods .. magicall =)))

Im Lovin the paleness contrasting with the red lipstick. And the accessories are very retro and hippie style .

This picture has inspired me to edit one of my own for a similar look =D What do you think ?

Some more Nailart

Heyy dolls . Remember a few blogposts back I had tried these nailart sticker thingies ? I got some more to try and I think the result is even better than the first time =)) They actually look like they've been done by a pro and nobody notices that they are just sticker prints .. and they are durable cos they last me like 5 days before the nailpolish starting chipping a bit (I use 2 coats of topcoat) . 



                           

Now Im looking for something more 3d to try and have come across these nailart from FIMO which are soo cute . I havent found them in my country so Im thinking Id either have to get them from ebay or find something similair . Cute huh? =)

I love the Hello kitty nails and would probably try out the first and second ones .. but the last picture is just wrong IMO lol ..I mean seriously lady , how can you eat with those things , or do anything else for that matter haha .What do you think girls , love em or hate em ?

Hello again pretties . I write this early morning , with a coffee by my side .. I need it , baby had a hell of a night with teething pains and of course baby no sleep means me no sleep O_O  but the day promises goodness as already I see rays of sunshine and that means a nice bright day out (there are some clouds far away but I choose to ignore them haha ) ..So I'll have my coffee , get ready and out with my mum to spend a day (or half) at my granny's place , and while I'm there I think I'll pop round to the charity shop and check out if there's any goodies for me ..
I have just done my hair and it has come out really nice this time (no orangey hues) , I used Goldwell ash tones mixed with another Goldwell tube which I just cant remember offhand but I really like the way it came out .. it did come out a bit grayish at first but it goes after a wash and blowdry . I use peroxide 30 as I don't want to damage my hair cos I've decided I want it veerryyy long =D
One bad thing is I'm looking at these photos and noticing I'm putting on some rather extra weight =(  How can I not when the world is so full of yummy things ..and the more I want to diet the more I feel like I want to eat .Gah !! But not to dwell on that subject too much as I'll use it for another blog post .. and I see how much Ive written already .. once I start talking I cant stop xD So you tell me what you think of the shoot =)) Love to read your comments !!

FAIL

Ohh Lorrd what a dayy!! and I say that in a tired . stressfull and frustrated way ..The little one is struggling with her teething , she spent half the day throwing tantrums .. and at the end of the day she dropped my new nailpolish which I had just bought and there was pastel blue nailpolish everywhere , a total mess . That teaches me to stop buying cheap makeup from the market . I mean it girls , its a lesson ..DON'T BUY CHEAPO MAKEUP/BEAUTY PRODUCTS . Just like any other cheap stuff it's a total waste of money . Better save a bit more cash and get a good quality product which will last and won't disappoint you .

Anywhooo now that Ive had my rant and spread some negativity out in cyberspace , I'll end the day and this post on a positive note . For all you pink lovers , who haven't yet noticed ,pink is the new black this season . The runways are full of it , so go get pinked up girls =D

DIY NailArt

Heyy dolls !! First of all I am so glad to see my blog is getting more readers and followers , which is a sign that my posts are being appreciated and I feel much more inspired to blog more ..so a big Thanks to all you readers =))

Today is a lovely sunny Sunday morning on our little island , so before getting ready to go out and soak up some warm sun rays I just had to share with you guys my latest discovery . Ive been wanting to go do my nails for some time now , not extensions because they're not so practical for me at the moment , plus my nails grow fast so its not like I need false ones , but I love the nailart and really wanted to get them done .

I came across these "nail stickers" at a shop for just €1.50 and thought Id try them out although I was a bit skeptical cos I thought stickers would just come of as soon as I put my hands in water (which I do alot of) .. anyway guess what I tried them out and they stayed on for up to 5 days .. Really good!! I first put on nail polish then stuck on the nailart stickers and put on a top coat of transparent nail varnish and hey presto , lovely 3d nail art without visiting a nail tech. =))

I forgot to take a pic of the packaging but will get more soon and post again .A packet has enough for a whole set of nails so it's a good bargain as I didn't use them all at once . Aren't they just soo pretty ?
