I just learnt that ...

Keitai is the japanese word for portable . Keitai-denwa meaning portable phone but they just call it Keitai for short I guess =)

Quickie post

Gals , I'm dying of heat this summer . My country is a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean so the sun sure shines hot here . I'm spending my time mostly in front of the fan , at the beach or just lazing about mainly .

I'm being so lazy I didn't even bother to edit the pic (scuse me !)

Summer Gyaru

Hello sweethearts , I'm just back from a wonderful morning at the beach . I Love Love Love the beach and the sea =))) I go early morning so that the sun isn't too hot and the sea is sooo fresh at that time too .. I'm working on my tan as I'm fair skinned so I get burnt easily =/ and I hate getting burnt cos it doesn't look nice and it's bad for the skin !

I'm looking around to buy a new bikini this week (cos a girl never has enough xD) and here are some inspiring pictures I found ..

Phone Deco

Remember those cheap nailart stickers I used in previous posts . Well I found these which are similar , only you stick then on your phone or laptop or wherever you want . They're a very cheap version of phone-deco but still very cute and pretty !!

I'd love to decorate my phone with some proper Japanese style deco-den in the future (deco obviously meaning decorate and den coming from the word denwa - meaning phone =)), like these ones ...

Hello pretties , just a tiny update of what Ive been up to lately as I haven't been blogging much . More then anything Ive been reading other blogs . Right now I'm soo into the beautiful Japanese style of hime-gyaru (meaning princess-gal ) , so Ive been researching by reading loads of blogs and forums and  getting ideas of how I can include similar items of clothing and accessories in what I wear =)) Very basically the idea is to look like a princess or doll , with flawless porcelain skin , big hair with accessories like bows , ribbons or crowns and very girly dresses and accessories .. everything soo pretty & cute.. or kawaii in Japanese ! Ill definitely be blogging much more in detail about this style in future posts .



This model in the photo is hime-gyaru style but there are loads & loads of other gyaru styles very different from each other Some wiki info here =)). Which gyaru style do you like best ?

This is my polish today . Pink and sparkly with silver glitters .. because I felt inspired by all the prettiness and pink =D

Ive also been to the beach with my daughter for our very first swim this year . It was soo cool and crystal clear . I haven't got a tan though haha I try not to stay too much in the hot sun cos we all know the damage done by UV rays , plus I'm very blond so its quite difficult for me to get tanned . I think Ill be trying out some fake tan soon .. I have bought a bottle but I'm a bit scared that I might end up looking too orange or streaky so I haven't decided to use it yet *yikes* Anyone have any fake tan stories ?

 

Ive been playing around alot with my blog template so if you're a regular reader you're bound to see some changes here too .

Baptism

Of my new blog URL lol .. yep cos I was playing around with the settings and changed the blog name cos I needed something more simple than which I had and guess what .. I can't change it back so I just have to stick with this one haha .. from now one my new blog url is ...

Among other things this week I plan to head for the beach for this years first swim (hope its not cold *yikes*) And to get in the mood I've polished my nails with this cool Aquablue polish from Mavala and funked it up with some nail-art stickers =)) Do you like it ?

...or off-white , or just plain white or whatever you wish to call it =)) These are my purchases for today which I'm really happy with cos they were such a bargain from the market stalls. At just €6 for the bag & €5 for the sandals I'm gonna be wearing these alot this summer .. I really love these big spacious bags cos I have to take so much stuff with me every time I go out but I'm sure to fit all the nappies, bottles and kid snacks in this one and still look stylish & classy at the same time . The cute flat sandals will also look good on practically anything , if its a light dress for the evenings, a comfy three-quarters or shorts for the day or even with a pair of jeans .

Ive been having fun buying so much bits & pieces of clothing & accessories and girly things these days its just impossible to remember to share them all on my blog but I do promise Ill be sharing them with my readers in future "what I'm wearing" posts .. mainly because .. I finally got my new camera .. yays .. in pink (of-course) so I promise much better quality pictures coming cos I'm gonna have fun snapping shots with my new toy  haha ..

Feeling Faerie

Hello friends , I apologise for my short absence of posting , but like Ive said before I rather not post anything at all then just post for the sake of updating . Anyhow these days I'm pretty much into the faerie-mystical mood again .. listening to new age music , drinking herbal teas and trying to be one with nature haha ..

This faerie music is what I'm listening to right now, its so calming ..

What do you think about this new age style ? (*note*not me in the pic) I think its super cute & mystical at the same time =))

Faerie inspired nails .. not that there are any faeries but the dark black & deep blood red with golden glitter gives a kind of magical effect .. don't you think?!

Kawaii Nails

Today I'm up early getting ready for another day out . After a pleasant day out in the sun yesterday at the children's park (and managed to do a little shopping too =D)  today we're off to playschool =)) So I thought these nailart were just right for a day with the kiddies haha .. bunnies,candy and teddies .. kawaii!!!  

Id love to get something like these done someday ..

I'm so happy to be a mommy to a beautiful little girl who I love soooooooo much .. Im not writing much today cos Ive got to start getting ready to go out . Eating at an Indian restaurant today , its my first time eating Indian food haha , hope Ill like it !! But I guess I will cos I'm not so choosy and as long as I'm with good company I dont mind where I go or what I eat ( as long its not something really disgusting lol )

Ive just got my nails ready and they're looking cute , don't you think? I used the HelloKitty nail polish again =D

Lately

Ive found this cute HelloKitty nailpolish in hot red .The packaging is so pretty, I couldn't resist not buying it ..

Another nailpolish Ive got lately from Maybelline . Its a nice pastel purple color and suits well for the spring season ..don't you think =)

Among other things that Ive been doing lately .. I just finished reading a book "The Lacuna" (great book imo.kudos to Barbara Kingsolver the author because I enjoyed it immensely) and have started another one "The garden of secrets" ..
I haven't had time to shop around for clothes lately . Im a bit broke too so Im looking forward to a shopping spree soon for the summer season =))) something to look forward too .. but being a terrible shopaholic I try to suppress my addiction by buying little cheap goodies which keep me happy .. I got a cute pair of earrings yesterday , some pink hair clips for the little one and some cute nail art prints which Ill share with my readers in some future post ..
And Ive just recently discovered ... The Twilight series ... aaaahhh I Love love love it .. =D Ok I might sound like Ive just fallen on planet earth because I  its been out a few years ago now.. so I really need to update myself on the latest movies xD ..anyhow Ive seen all 3 of "Twilight"  (must get the books too someday) and am eagerly waiting for 4th to come out =))  ... Ive got the same dilemma as Bella in the film .. I don't know who I like more Edward or Jacob .. both are HOT!! Who do you prefer ?? Im curious ..

Hello my friends , I write this post as I watch the Royal Wedding live .. wow how much the prince has grown =)) and his soon to be wife looks absolutely delightful wearing the most beautiful dress from Alexander McQueen .. I wish them all the best and won't go on about the subject as I'm sure we're all overdosed on the Royal Wedding news coverage publicity etc. xD

Yesterday was a fine sunny day with a bit of breeze so I decided to take the little one by the sea .. it was soo nice paddling our feet in the cool water , the beach was empty and the sea was calm .. perfect !! I hadn't prepared anything cos it was just a random decision so next time I'll have to take more pictures (sorry for the lack of ) but I'm making up with these pretty pictures by the sea with Courtney Vogler (yes again!! Dont you just love the simpleness and pastel colors which are perfect for a nice summer day by the sea . Ive just made a mental note that this year I must wear more dresses , they're so feminine and pretty =)) Don't you think? Hows your spring/summer been till now ?

Pink Pixie Pictorial

Hello Pretties,
What has started out as a gray and cloudy day is turning out to be pretty sunny , so as baby naps I take the opportunity to post some inspiration I got from this lovely shoot from Elliot & Erick Jimenez for Material Girl . These are only a few pictures from the shoot so make sure you check out the rest cos they're really pretty . This fresh faced model is Courtney Vogler ( clicky here for another very pretty shoot from her) . She is absolutely beautiful , her face has that innocent childlike look which reminded me of the beautiful topmodel Gemma Ward who has similar features imo .
I love this pictorial because it has some of my favourite elements -- PINK =D of course .. and also it has that fairy feel to it , and fairies are another of my obsessions ..
Hmm seeing these photos I can almost smell the spring air in the woods .. magicall =)))

Im Lovin the paleness contrasting with the red lipstick. And the accessories are very retro and hippie style .

This picture has inspired me to edit one of my own for a similar look =D What do you think ?

Some more Nailart

Heyy dolls . Remember a few blogposts back I had tried these nailart sticker thingies ? I got some more to try and I think the result is even better than the first time =)) They actually look like they've been done by a pro and nobody notices that they are just sticker prints .. and they are durable cos they last me like 5 days before the nailpolish starting chipping a bit (I use 2 coats of topcoat) . 



                           

Now Im looking for something more 3d to try and have come across these nailart from FIMO which are soo cute . I havent found them in my country so Im thinking Id either have to get them from ebay or find something similair . Cute huh? =)

I love the Hello kitty nails and would probably try out the first and second ones .. but the last picture is just wrong IMO lol ..I mean seriously lady , how can you eat with those things , or do anything else for that matter haha .What do you think girls , love em or hate em ?
